Unveiling dotLottie Support for Enhanced Lottie Icon Module

In our previous major release, we unveiled the Table Maker module, making it simple to create stunning, responsive tables for your Divi website. With advanced settings, you can effortlessly customize every detail – no shortcodes required.

In this update, while we haven’t added a new module, we’ve focused on enhancing existing features. The Lottie Icon module now supports dotLottie, and the Popup Maker includes new closing animations, offering an even smoother and more dynamic user experience.

What is dotLottie?

dotLottie is an innovative open-source format that bundles multiple Lottie files, along with their associated resources – such as images and fonts – into a single, streamlined file. This format optimizes Lottie animations by compressing them into smaller, faster-loading packages that contain all the essential assets and configuration settings, making distribution and implementation more efficient.

Display optimized animated icons with the Lottie Icon module

The Lottie Icon module effortlessly brings animated icons to your Divi website, working as a dynamic blurb module. It offers the flexibility to seamlessly blend icons, titles, descriptions, and buttons, enhancing both the visual appeal and interactivity of your site.

Standard Lottie animations, saved as JSON files, can sometimes be large and impact website performance. With the addition of dotLottie support to the Lottie Icon module, you can reduce animation sizes by up to 90%, ensuring optimized performance without compromising quality.

Where can I find dotLottie Files?

You can download dotLottie files from the Lottie Files website, though please note that this is a premium feature that requires a subscription. Thankfully, a free online converter is available that lets you convert standard Lottie (.JSON) animations into the dotLottie format (.lottie).

New Popup Maker Animations

In this update, we’ve introduced a new feature to Popup Maker that enables you to effortlessly display modal popups on your website using custom triggers. Additionally, the latest version of the Divi Pixel plugin now offers new closing animations, allowing you to customize both open and close animations for an enhanced user experience.
